Nano-Lit is the first company to develop circadian lighting solutions using Quantum Dot technology. With quantum dots, you get a higher colour quality and light efficiency from your lights.
Quantum dots are light-emitting nanocrystals that absorb light of one wavelength and convert it to another. They are so small that 10,000 quantum dots can fit into the width of a single human hair. The color of light emissions through these particles are fundamentally regulated based on the size of individual dots. The results are rich and saturated colors which closely mimic natural sunlight.
Compared to static LED lighting, Quantum dots produce a 30% increase in color accuracy, and 22% savings in energy consumption over a 24-hour period.
